# Custom Games

## What is it?

Custom game gives players the freedom to set up their game manually. The room owner can control which game mode to play & who to play with.

## How to access

Press the 'Custom' button to switch over to custom games & either click the 'Room List' button or the Custom game slot.&#x20;

## Join room

Players can join a room by clicking the 'Quick Join' button or the 'Join' button on the room of their choice.

Once inside, players can chat with other players in the room & ready themselves to for the game to start. All players have to be ready in order for the game to start.

## Create room

To create a room, player has to be at least a basic VIP Pass owner. Once the player has that cleared, 'Create' button will be activated.

To create a room, player has to select a game mode & set room name & password if need be. If no password is set, the room will be public. If a pasword is set, players wanting to join the room has to know the password.

Once a player has created the room that player becomes the room owner & can perform unique actions.

These are the settings & option the room owner can set.

* Change room name
* Move a player to another team
* Change to public/private state of the room
* Change the game mode
* Change the server region to create the game
* Change whether to allow AIs to participate
* Invite other players to the room
* Start the match

## Start match

In order to start the match, all players in the room has to ready themselves by pressing the 'Ready' button & then the room owner should press the 'Start' button.

The blue checker on the player slot indicates that a player is ready.

## Leave room

For all players, in order to leave the room, press 'ESC' or the 'X' buttonon the top right corner.

If a room owner leaves the room, the ownership will pass on to one of the remaining players.
